May-Li still tries to get Bec to talk to her, but Bec just returns to her room and picks up a part of her Mother’s dress while Evie still continued to mock Bec, she splashed her drink onto Bec, ruining her dress and got her into trouble with Joan by claiming that Bec started it.

When Joan left to get them drinks, Evie began mocking Bec for her dress and house and snuck up to Bec’s room under the pretence of going to the toilet while Rae got Bec a necklace like hers (which Bec soon flushes down the toilet).Īfter Taz and Sid collect a lot of water, Taz realises that Sid has left Bec’s room unguarded and attempts to use a water gun to defend themselves from her, only to accidentally use it on May-Li (which she isn’t happy about). Bec soon tried out her Mother’s dress just as Evie and Rae arrived for her birthday. When Joan saw her with it, she allowed Bec to try it on once she had her chores done to Joan’s satisfaction and reluctantly wished Bec a Happy Birthday. On her birthday, Bec took out a dress that was made by her Mother. Soon enough, the fire alarm goes off as a result of Taz and Sid doing some burnt toast near it so they could test the alarm to protect the Dumping Ground (while claiming that they wanted to welcome Bec, though she rejects them) and then go and get some water. Thinking Bec had saved him, Rae agreed to come to Bec’s party the next day. Once, Bec took Rae’s dog Scout without Rae knowing but soon gave him back to her while claiming that she had found him on the dual carriageway. Taz and Sid spy on Bec and think about working to make sure that Bec doesn’t destroy everything and so they take one item from all the kids’ rooms and lock them in the garden shed. She also worked with her Grandmother, Joan, who owns a fishmonger (an important client of which was Evie’s Mother) and Joan told Evie and Rae when they visited it that Bec’s birthday was the next day but Bec doesn’t do birthdays and mocked her for how no-one would come to her party even if she did have one. Meanwhile, Bec is in her room when she remembers her past she knew a couple of girls (Evie and Rae) who once came up to her and she told them she was writing in her diary about private stuff when she left. Sid and Taz overhear May-Li on the phone about Bec living at the Dumping Ground as opposed to being with her Grandmother and having to watch her every second, which makes them believe Bec is potentially dangerous (and could possibly destroy them all) and they have to stop her. May-Li attempts to talk to Bec about her possibly returning to be with her Grandmother and offers to make some Hot Chocolate and to talk, but Bec just ignores her and goes to her room. They soon enter her room to find she’s torn up the welcome banners and signs Floss had done for her and smell a fire it’s Bec burning her diary. Taz and Sid rush into Ashdene Ridge, excited to meet the new girl Rebecca (or Bec). With Taz and Sid spooked, Bec's mysterious past comes to light. Bec wastes no time in making an impression on her first day at Ashdene Ridge by making a fire in the garden.
